Biography

Irina trained as a Soprano at the “St Petersburg State Conservatoire named after Rimsky-Korsakov”, Russia in the class of professor E. Gorokhovskaya.Irina Tutt Performing at the Glinka Philharmonic Hall St Petersburg

Whilst studying took part in regular productions at Conservatoire Opera and Ballet Theatre:-

Iolanta in “Iolanta” and and Tatiana in “Eugene Onegin” by P.I.Tchaikovsky,

Clara in “La Duenna” by S.S. Prokofiev

Contessa and Cerubino in “Le Nozze di Figaro” and Fiordilidgi in “Cosi fan tutte” by W.A. Mozart

June 2001 took part in Montserrat Caballe Master Classes in the Principality of Andorra.

September 2001 Entered The Mariinsky Young Artists Academy

December 2001 was awarded the 3rd prize at the St. Petersburg S.V. Rachmaninov Competition.

Summer 2002 at the International Hopes Talents and Masters Competition in Bulgaria, awarded the Encouraging Prize.

Summer 2003 sang the role of Princess Betsie in opera “Anna Karenina”, composed by V.A. Uspensky giving a passionate performance on the stage of Opera and Ballet Theatre in a production dedicated to 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg

After graduating with Distinction from St. Petersburg Conservatoire in qualification of Opera Singer and Concert Chamber Singer worked in St. Petersburg State Philharmonic Concerts Company “Petersburg-Concert” giving regular concert and opera performances until moving into UK in 2007.

Autumn 2004 won a place on the “Opera Studio” course at the National Santa Cecilia Academy of Music, Rome.

Since moving to England in 2007 on the happy occasion of my marriage, I have been perfecting my vocal technique, first with Elizabeth Ritchie (RAM), and currently with Jennifer McGregor.

June 2007 – Solo recital at St. Andrew’s Church in Ely

29th of August, 6th of September, 12th of December 2008, 6th of September 2009 a recitals at London Piano school as “Classical duo”with Noel Charles, the director.

20th of December 2008 - Christmas concert at Maidenhead Reformed Church with Musical Director Ivan Yanakov.

January 2009 Gave a successful sell out recital at the Glinka Philharmonic Hall in St. Petersburg.

October 2009 Applied for JPYAP scheme on the advice of Elizabeth Ritchie, with support from Elena Obraztsova and “Petersburg-Concert”.

April 2010

Sell out recital at St. Andrew’s Church in Ely

Solo recital in Schott’s Venue in London, with Noel Charles on Piano

May 2010

Took part in “Ezra Williams presents” concert series in London with Noel Charles on Piano

Took part in at St. Paul’s church in London concert series alongside acclaimed Soprano Jennifer McGregor

Took part in a tribute concert, dedicated to70th anniversary of professor E. Gorokhovskaya at the Glazunov Concert Hall in St. Petersburg

Took part in concert series at St. Paul’s church in London alongside acclaimed Soprano Jennifer McGregor.
